"There we have the salad" is the name of our cookbook, which we published for our 30th anniversary. It contains nineteen family and favorite recipes from visitors to the women's oasis, as well as short portraits of these women. The culinary journey takes you from Swiss "Hacktätschli und Lauchrölleli" from Eylin to a Bolivian peanut soup that Aurora always had cooked for her birthday, to a "children's cheese and cream cake" as Gudrun calls it. The cookbook also contains some everyday recipes from the women's oasis, such as the popular lentil soup in winter or the coveted watermelon salad in summer.

In addition to an introduction that addresses the importance of food and table culture in social work, so-called "work recipes" are repeatedly recorded between the recipes. These briefly and with a pinch of humor describe the attitudes and concepts that the women's oasis works with. For example, why there is never any hope lost when it comes to reducing harm, why we don't dance around strawberry week and that "help for self-help" can also be served on a silver platter. The book ends with a chronological review of 30 years of women's work by the association frau sucht gesundheit.

The book can be purchased for a minimum price of 30.- including shipping via email.

Any amounts above this amount will go towards further activities with the visitors to the women's oasis. Please provide the shipping address and preferred payment method (Twint, e-banking, payment slip).

The cookbook was designed with the kind support of Dieter Bopp (graphics) and Fiona Fontanive (illustrations) and with much joy from all the cooks.
